A valuable springboard for designers
TALENTS DE MODE is a key fashion event, the influence and prestige of which are constantly growing thanks to its generous prizes, its effective entrepreneurial support, the high-quality of the applicants and the reputation of its organiser.
Created 10 years ago by the VILLAGE DES CRÉATEURS (VDC), a creative hub which helps encourage the economic development of fashion and design businesses in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, the aim of this competition is to detect and promote emerging talents in the contemporary fashion field with a high entrepreneurial potential, by providing them with the concrete means and resources they need to ensure their long-term success in France and internationally.
A source of development, supported by partners
TALENTS DE MODE is focused above all on entrepreneurial reality, creativity and product-focused innovation.
Initially created to support the siting of new fashion businesses in Lyon thanks to the competition’s generous first prize, TALENTS DE MODE has today carved out a distinctive place for itself.
The creation of the Innovation prize
Constantly attentive to developments within the fashion market and the emergence of Fashion Technology, for its 2018 session TALENTS DE MODE has created the INNOVATION prize proposed in conjunction with the first prize, to reward initiatives incorporating digital solutions, technology, new forms of distribution or social and environmental values.
Thanks to its effective, business-focused support, to its many partnerships and the networking opportunities it offers with key players in the sector, TALENTS DE MODE provides an excellent opportunity for a young entrepreneur or fashion designer with a promising idea in mind to develop his activity and his brand under optimal conditions.
The Talents de Mode competition is supported by a number of loyal partners: the trade shows Who's Next and Première Classe, in addition to Galeries Lafayette Lyon Part-Dieu, the Joyce Gallery Paris, Ulule and Apparence Agency...
The Talents de Mode competition is financed by the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, The Métropole de Lyon (Metropolitan Lyon), the City of Lyon and the Club des Partenaires du Village des Créateurs (Village des Créateurs Partners' Club).
